I am getting some of my wisdom teeth taken out today! Needless to say I made sure my last meal would be epic. Where did I have my last meal? Bobby Van’s. Please let me live vicariously through you and get this Deal!
Bobby Vans is the epitome of class and sophistication but let’s get to the meat of the review, FOOD! I have visited both their 54th Street and Financial District location (my favorite), happy to report that both are equally great in customer service and in Quality of food. The waiters are superb, extensive knowledge on wine and which wine complements each dish. Insider tip: on Saturdays the Financial District location sell half off all bottles of wine! I always start with the Crab Cake, no filler here as this is crabby cake is on the opposite end of the spectrum, worth every penny. The porterhouse is something I love to order, perfectly cooked every time, I recommend you get it cooked medium. For sides I order mac & cheese with lobster and sautéed mushrooms. If you are in the mood for something light I suggest you go for the lemon pepper jumbo shrimp entrée, comes over a bed of rice. When you take a bite out of that you’re going to want to scream for joy, it’s just that good. The gallery below are dishes I highly recommend.

As many times as I go to Bobby Van’s, I’m constantly mesmerize by the decor, especially considering it’s rich history. When you’re seated here you will always be treated like royalty and I just love that. It’s a great place to go and nothing gets better than being at one of New York’s most traditional Steakhouses!
